Anticipation Countdown Series – Introduction
When you combine the well established admiration for both Derek Haas and Jensen Ackles, is it any wonder why the excitement for their new series Countdown, is building exponentially. Fans are waiting with bated breath for any news. They are at the half way point in pre-production, with a rumoured release date of June 2025. To help alleviate the wait, we’re launching the “Anticipation Countdown Series.” This is a series of feature articles, aimed at taking a closer look at the artists and the expertise of those who will deliver this body of work. In Case You Didn’t Know
Countdown is a new series that is produced and distributed by Amazon MGM Studios / Amazon Prime Video respectively, and will initially consist of thirteen episodes.
Countdown starts following a suspicious murder in broad daylight, which leads to LAPD officer Mark Meachum (Ackles) being recruited to join a secret task force of undercover agents from all branches of law enforcement to investigate. But as the truth of a more sinister plot comes into focus, the team must overcome their conflicting personal agendas to unite and save a city of millions.
