We are getting very close to the June 25th premiere of Countdown and the only news that surfaced in the last week, outside of the trailer, is an episode road map. It’s a tricky walk to walk. While all efforts are focused on keeping anticipation and excitement high, it’s customary to keep details about the show under wraps. So the question becomes, how do you keep fans keyed up, while honoring “new show etiquette,” by not leaking spoilers?
But alas I am too late. The information is out there, and at last check, it’s ripple effect is already spreading, so any attempt on my part to shield fans from spoilers may be futile. At the crossroads of timely reporting and full disclosure, resides the proverbial fence I have fashioned into my own seat. So when it comes to spoilers, the choice is yours if you proceed.
However one hard truth remains. Every single Countdown fan I’ve met is already “ride-or-die” and they haven’t even seen the show yet. When I ask myself the question, “Do you want to risk seeing spoilers?” my answer is this: if you sent me a box full of season one scripts, and I read each one, I’d still be “Christmas-morning-giddy” about watching the premiere and every single episode that follows. Knowing details does not diminish my appetite to see this show, in fact, it elevates it. I can’t get enough. But that’s me.
Others like to open their presents Christmas morning instead of Christmas Eve. I respect that. So from this point forward, continue with full disclosure that danger lies ahead. I warned you.
So, Proceed If you Dare

Eventually, each of these slide shows will be replaced by an episode recap once Countdown is launched. This is finally the month when all the excitement and hype pays off for fans. The big press day is fast approaching, and once that happens fans will have more content then they can take in. While feast or famine is the order of the day, we all look forward to feasting… on Countdown!

Like you I’m already a die hard fan of the show #Countdown and I don’t mind spoilers. I will still watch and rewatch and will do my I did a thing fan art. Makes me smile and it’s cool to see those that do like it as well. I look forward to your next Countdown article.
JOANNA CAMACHO 🥰 I think so many of us are “die-hard” Countdown fans already! Some people want to experience the purest blush of “new” when it happens and learn about characters and situations as they arise. I can totally respect that. I’ve never been that way. When I’m invested, I will take all those details however, whenever and as often as ever. I was built for streaming entertainment. That is especially true for me when I’m watching actors that I admire. With all the writing and research I’ve done for Countdown, I can’t wait to see all them interact – I think we’re going to get the full spectrum of human emotion… I can’t wait. And you are being too modest, I saw that Derek Haas liked your “I Did a Thing” art for Countdown. Well done you! Cheers! ❤️
reading the synapses only made me more curious, they are always very generic and that’s okay.
I know that the characters will be incredible with great character and many facets given the cast.
it happened that I read books that then became series, if I liked the book I will still watch the series out of curiosity to see what has changed, the changes are not always good, but sometimes they make the story new and interesting. so reading this certainly did not turn off my desire to see Countdown, I think I will watch it and rewatch it several times, given that Jensen is present and is a guarantee of quality.
